Ok First off Niloshima,

If you are setting up on Windows 2000 Advanced Server, you need to go to a folder called SETUPTXT on the installation Disc, and read the ADVSRV2.TXT file as well as the others as they have pertainate info to your situation. This section, which is all about installing multiple Operating systems on a hard drive with 2000Advanced Server, and will help you to understand what you are running up against.

If you are setting up on Server 2003 you need to go browse your 2003 Disc and look in the DOC folder and find a file called ENTSRV3.TXT and start reading Section 8. This section, which is all about installing multiple Operating systems on a hard drive with 2003 Server will help you to understand what you are running up against.

I will warn you right now Microsoft Windows 2000 and on, like to be installed last, so if you were installing say DOS, Win98, Linux BSD etc they need to be installed on the Disc first in their own partitions. The 2000 Server READ1ST.TXT notes will explain all of this.

If you can't find a Folder on the Installation Disc called "BOOTDISK" then I think you need to go to Microsoft to down load the Boot disk images and create a set of boot disks for Server 2003, because I doubt your going to be able to get that Win98 boot disk to work for you. Otherwise everything you need to create a proper set of Windows 2000 Advanced Server Installation boot disks is in that folder. In some later versions MS stopped shipping with that folder, so you need to go to their web site and down load the image files in order to create the proper Disk Set. And no the disk set for W2K Pro will not work and nether will W2K Server.

You also posted in another thread, and had some issues with hardware requirements when dealing with your new computer, I would suggest you sit down, with a large Mountain Dew and extra large bag of Skittles and read all of the Supplied documentation on that Server 2000 disk before you go any further.

Good luck!
