application errors

hai

when i start my windows nt server i am getting the following application errors,runtime errors


1. npscheck.exe -application error

( the instruction at "0x0040c200" referenced memory at "0x00000000". the memory couldn't be written)

press ok -- to terminate
cancel -- debug application

it enters into vc++ debug screen

like wise i get backlog.exe,defalert.exe,poproxy.exe

how to recrity my problem

2. one more problem is when i open word, excel i am getting R6025 virtual function cell runtime error i am able to create word or excel sheet but i am not able to open these created documents. but these same documents i am able to open in other systems. how to rectify this problem

npscheck.exe defalert.exe backlog.exe poproxy.exe are all related to Norton Anti Virus.
Did you recently remove/uninstall Norton?
