Unknown program at Startup

On one our workstations here at work (running Win2K), a program, unknown to me, has started popping up. On the title bar it says "UPDA32 - [status]. Does anyone know what this is and how it got started?

and search for your file name, it is something to do with Compuserve.

I also havethe same problem. At start up time a window pops up saying UPDA32 [Status}. This machine was win 2000 and upgraded to XP, but the pop up is still there.

Any one with any explanation and solution to remove this?

for Win XP, type msconfig at the Run command, in the tab Startup you will find a list of programs running at Windows Startup, if you don't like any program, uncheck it.

for Win2k, try to get a copy of the file "msconfig.exe" in any computer running WinXP at C:\windows\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\msconfig.exe
to your folder Win2k and run it
