floppy drive access for every program

I'm working on another customer's computer. It had viruses, I removed them as well as removing adware & spyware. I also ran WinDoctor to repair Windows 2000. My problem is that if the floppy disk is enabled almost every program I run gives an error: There is no disk in drive A:. Please insert a disk. Or something like that. Any help please?

The customer ended up just coming in to pick up the PC before I had a chance to look at this so we just disabled the floppy drive since she doesn't use it. But I'll bet that it may have been the Service Agent because that was the one thing I hadn't checked yet. A colleague of mine thought that it may be some sort of registry entry but I couldn't find it.
