Send a message via MSN to snowmonkey
there are few ways of fixing your issue, the easiest way is through "Hiren's Boot CD" , this Cd contains password changing tools, click on the following link and download the ZIP file and then burn that into as CD....and finally boot from that CD, that will give you option to change the system password.

hey Snowmonkey,
I downloaded the hirenbootcd6 file, and extracted it, however, its set up as EZ CD Creator file (Music apparently), and won't boot... Can you help me figure it out?
Also, I'm wondering if I will be able to run a boot cd without admin privileges... I can log in under my username. Should I run it from the command prompt?

Had a similar problem there and tried this link

We used 'Offline NT Password & Registry Editor (v041205)' and just did it on floppy. It certainly gave us the access we required. You can even follow a step by step guide under

Good Luck

Wink Thanks

I ended up just re-installing the 2000 OS over it. Just had to adjust the bios boot order. It worked great! Now I can setup the comp just the way I want it...
Still gotta install more Harddisks and figure out dual booting, ah more research... and will probably rip this comp down to its pieces again, once I'm sure I've gotten it running well now.

Thanks for the help everyone. Good luck with your probs.
