Exclamation GPO Welcome Screen change

Is there a way to change the standard blue background that user get when they log off or startup windowsXP with Group Policy? I was able to change the wallpaper to a standard company wallpaper but i would like to see that wallpaper on the main screen b/f users do a ctrl+al+del to login.

HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Desktop and editing WALLPAPER to a network share .bmp was the trick LOCALLY but can someone explain the process if i want to deploy that reg hack to the rest of the lan?

Cool well...

Do the reg hack as the guy suggested. Then export it to a .reg file. Then, either import it using remote registry if you have it or put it into a group policy under COMPUTER CONFIGURATION\WINDOWS SETTINGS\SCRIPTS\STARTUP You could make a visual basic script or batch file. The batch file can have this...

regedit /a file.reg (where file.reg contains the exported registry setting)

Then restart all machines on your network.

I think this should work.
