im running windows 2k pro on my pc with 512 ram / 30gb left on hard drive/ and a pentium 3 450 mhz ............. I wanna switch to XP only thing im worried about is if my computer will work properly with xp bein as my processor is only 450 mhz ....i do graphics alot of downloading and messanger programs aim, yahoo, and msn, all at once do you think doing this with xp installed my pc will work well ???

Your computer exceeds the minimum hardware requirements for a windows XP installation. Its good that you're asking however, you can always check that at Microsoft's website along w/ the (HCL) hardware compatibility list.
As long as XP "likes" your hardware, you will do fine.
