Remote Desktop doesn't connect-

Help!! I have tried a lot to get remote desktop to work, never had a problem before.

I have Remote Desktop installed on a Windows 2000 workstation and tring to connect to a Remote 2000 Server.

from any location in the domain, I do not have a problem.
When I Remote desktop comes up, I can see servers in the browers list.
However I can not see the server on the list. I can not even access any of the servers on the list. when I enter or click one of the servers- then hit connect, nothing happens..........no error message, nothing, I even enter in all data in options(domain, username, password).

the only thing that I can see is that the domain is not automatically listed when I view options like it does from another computer

This only is happening from this pc

-cleared tmps, reinstalled remote desktop, checked the local computer registry key(lincensing key issue): HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE?\Software\Microsoft\MSlicensing \Store\LICENSE00x

not sure what else to do.

any ideas??

Thank you

are they on the same subnet?
Can you see that pc from another machine on the same subnet (10.10.101.x on a 10.10.101.x)?
can you see that pc from another machine on a differenct subnet (10.10.101.x on a 10.10.102.x)?
chk that the masterbrowser (primary DNS) has your box listed...
