I have no idea what caused it.. but about a week ago half the sound on my computer stopped working.
For example, the windows startup music no longer plays, and I don't get that "Ding" whenever an error message pops up anymore.
My volume control is all set to "on" except for mono, (though I even tried the sound with it on) and I am all out of ideas
