Cool Disk does not show in Disk Manager

I have a Windows 2000 SP4 machine, connected via FC to an IBM Storage Array. The server has a LUN on this Array, which is drive D. I can use this drive without any problems. In the Disk Management however, this disk is not shown. Whatever I try (rescanning, rebooting): the disk will not appear. Today I connected the server via iSCSI with a NetApp filer and also the disk on this filer does not appear in Disk Management. The only disks I see are the disks that are physically in the system.
Does anyone have an idea what is causing this behavior?
