Deleting a file using a batch file in Windows scheduler

Dear All

I wonder whether someone here will know the answer to this.
I am trying to create a batch file (.bat - notepad) which will delete a specific file in a specific folder. I will then use Win Scheduler to run this batch file each day. The last bit is simple - it is the creation of the .bat file that I am having difficulty with. Can anyone help?

Best regards

Jason

Yeah, need more info.

Do everything using the command prompt. If you use notepad, it will give it the default .txt extension. You can always rename the file to xxxx.bat.

From the command prompt, type: edit filename.bat

The command to delete a file or folder is: del c:\temp\*.* /q
