Modifying power settings in registry
The Jist: I need to push out a script to modify the "When I close the lid of my portable computer" power setting to be Standby on all Windows 2000 boxes in our environment. I have been using Regmonitor to track and export the changes. Unfortunatly when I attempt to merge the changes back into the registry it is not changing the power setting.
I am obviously missing something and was wondering if anyone had attempted to do this before and could possibly give me any insight.
