Thumbs down Explorer.exe crash on rename or creation of folders on desktop
Everytime, I try to rename, or create a folder on my desktop, my explorer.exe generates errors and has to be restarted. What the hell causes this?

I have a similar experience when a try to rename zip files.
Very frustrating. Explorer often crashed for other reasons that I can't pinpoint. Can anyone suggest how to start troubleshooting explorer crashes?

Do you mean that a bad *I*explorer.exe can crash *E*xplorer.exe?
