Windows 2003 DHCP issue

I have an interesting issue here. In this building, I have an Internet DSL box connected to a netgear router\firewall. DHCP is currently configured on the router. This router provides IP addresses for about ten workstations in a peer-to-peer network. Now comes the fun part. I have a 2003 server hooked up to the netgear router. The server hosts another five workstations. (These people work in the same building but are from different companies and bought their own server) I would also liked to enable DHCP on the server to simplify my life and allow more flexibility for people who come in with their laptops and want to connect to the internet(through this server). Right now the users connected to the server are setup with static IPs. Is there a way to sucessfully accomplish this mess?

quick question:

Are you using same subnet for both DHCP server ?

I would disable the DHCP server on the router and use the Windows 2003 for it since it can support multiple subnet.

No they aren't. It did work for a little while with both DHCP services running but after a few days it stopped. I thought because they were on different subnets DHCP wouldn't conflict.
