Question Best way to do Clean Install of W2000

Hi, I'm sorry for being such a worrier but I'm about to go from Win98se to Win2000 Pro. I think I'm pretty much set. My Win2000 CD is NOT bootable. So I have my 4 floppys for setup boot disks, My 3 service packs are on a CD. So my only question is the sequence of the BIOS boot. I have been told that it should be A-HD-CD. I went into Setup Utility but couldn't get to the "BOOT" tab. I'm not sure of myself enough to fool around with the BIOS if I need to change sequence. I have a HP 8575c Pavilion. I guess I just put in the #1 floppy, restart, and hope my sequence is okay for the Clean Install of Win2000 and the booting of my PC.
Any help would be GREAT,,I like to print out directions, its much easier.
Thanks~~Paul

Cool W2000 Install

Paul: This is Dick Johnson and wondered what happened. If nervious about bios changing, don't do it. Just use a blank hard drive or erase your 98se hard drive. Then just use the boot floppies and the CD. It will load just fine. After creating a "C" drive FAT32 of at least 5-6 GB's, go ahead and install W2000. After some files are loaded it will tell you to remove any floppies and want to restart. Let it restart and it should go straight into W2000. If it does try and run the same setups again from the CD that it did from the floppies, just push the "reset" button, remove the CD and it will start W2000 from the temporary files it loaded. After the "Starting Windows 2000" screen is loading put the CD back in the CD-ROM. It will need the rest of the i386 folder files from the CD. email me a phone number and I'll call if you get into a big pile of #@&%$#*! I will give you my phone number also in an email if you need it. Windows 2000 is easier to load than 98se!
