Xp To 2000 Server Issues
I am currently trying to install server 2000 on an hp workstation xw8200. When I put the disk for windows server 2000 in the machine I get "this cd-rom is from an older version of windows than the one you are presently using. Setup functionality from this disk will be disabled." The machine will not let me install this os. I have even restarted the computer and tried to boot from cd-rom but the machine tells me it cannot find a local disk installed on the system. Thats funny because it will boot xp immediately afterwards. Any Suggestions?
