WSUS - computers not all there

I recently setup WSUS on one of my servers. If it go into network places i can see all 500+ computers on the lan but if go into WSUS it only sees 104 computers.

Anyone see a reason why the other 400 would be missing?

thanks

It could be a bug in the software !!! Since the software was designed for server update then I would imagine the software thinks that is has 104 for Server on the list... and that is a big number for server Admin.... That number could be maximum threshold !!

Cheers

p.s; I'm downloading WSUS right now to see if I can duplicate your issue

im not sure where you got your info but WSUS isnt just for servers...the issue was fixed by some testing i did today. it was a policy setting that i had as disabled for the moment b/w i didnt want anyone to get updates which made it not contact (detect) the wsus server at all...i now see them all

thanks for your response
