SBS 2003 phantom network drive issue

I have an issue where my server 2003 sbs and my workstations xp/2000 are having issues talking to each other. On certain workstations there are drives showing up in explorer that dont exist. The C drive and cd drives and drives that I have mapped are there. But Soon after booting every free letter drive starts showing up in explorer and they are disconnected. What is even wierder is they all point to a shared drive that does exist. Has anyone ever heard of this? I feel as if I am in the Twighlight Zone.

Problem with phantom drive mappings in sbs 2003/xp

I am experiencing this right now. On one client PC, all the letters from C:-Z: are mapped like this, and nothing can be saved to the SBS 2003 server. Opened, yes, but not saved back to. And the save error dialog references a different drive letter than the one the file is being saved to. Did you get this resolved? How? Thanks
