Desktop files reappear

Hi,

My XP laptop syncs the My Documents folder with a 2003 Server. I have a load of files that I want to delete from my desktop. Everytime I delete them the end up reappearing when I next logon. Obviously they are coming back from the server.

How do I ensure that they are permenently deleted?

Are you doing a recycle bin delete or a logical delete? If you have emptied the recycle bin when you delete the files, and they still come back you could always try a physical erase. that will guarantee the files are perminately gone.

I've no idea what you mean by a physical erase.
