In Word when you 'save as' the office assistant sits on the screen and blinks at you. Same thing happens when you save, if it is a new document you are not asked for a file name. If you create a document and exit you will be asked if you want to save or not and again if you say yes the office assistant just blinks at you and puts you back into the document. The only way you can exit word is to not save.
In explorer it is slightly different the message usually appears on the the screen unable to donload or words to that effect. No indication is given why you cannot download. I can save in notepad,wordpad excel and access!
