Blue Screen (Fatal error) how to recover files

I have got 3 OSs installed on my laptop:

1- 2000 Advanced server

2- FC4

3- Solaris 10

Suddenly I received blue screen (fatal error screen) when I booted my laptop in 2000 server.

How can I recover my files and folders.

I am thinking to use knoppix live CD V4,,,

Or mounting windows partition under Linux.

Is there any other idea (may be it will easier) ?

There are few ways of recovering the data but I thing the following two are the easiest

Ultimate Boot CD:
http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/

or
Winternals Admin
http://www.winternals.com/Products/AdministratorsPak/

Personally I would go for Winternals Admin because it have easy GUI interface like XP.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

boot into fedora
mkdir /win
mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /win
you'll need captive ntfs for this if you don't have it.
I don't know what repo has it, so you might want to search around (or use yumex)

just remember DON'T WRITE TO AN NTFS PARTITION FROM WITHIN LINUX
if it's fat32 the command will be
mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /win
