Question Dual booting with 2000 and xp

Is there a way to install Windows 2000 server on a machine that is already running xp? I tried this recently and couldnt boot into xp after I added a partition and installed 2000. I relalize you are supposed to install 2000 first, but I was wondering if there is a work around for installing it in the reverse order? Im no computer expert, so if you have a solution please give me detailed steps on how to do this.

Yes you can, by rewriting the Master Boot Record, as described here.
