Seagate 300gb External Disk

I have labtop with win 2003 server, i bought an External Disk SEAGATE 300GB, is it compatible with this OS/2003 win server? or do i need drivers?

Is it a USB External Drive ? there is no need to driver if you have 2k3 server on the system....just plug it in and format the new drive, that's all...........like they say "Plug and Pray"
