Unable to receive attachments in Exchange

Hi all,

i have a problem when receiving attachments through Exchange 2003 server. My server is
Configured to send mail through a SMTP connector to a smart host. i have configured poproute to receive mails from mail server.here i am listing the error msg i am getting when i try to open a .xls file & .PDF file.
For .xls:
'abc.xls' can not be accessed. The file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only location.Or the server the document is stored on may not be responding.

Pdf:

there was an error opening this document.The file is damaged and could not be repaired.


please help me anyone in this regard.

Are you trying to open the file right on the server ? or you get the error message on the client computer, after email has been delivered??
