Installing on work computer???

Hola

I'm trying to install SKYPE on my aunties laptop that she acquired from work. THey know she has it and basically said use it until you dont need it anymore.

I've installed SKYPE but cant get it to connect because of (I think!) the internet connection. I'm trying to install Wanadoo Broadband (she's in France) and it gets so far then says Access Denied.

I think this is because she does not have administration rights, sound about right?? But saying that, would it allow SKYPE installation and not Wanadoo??

She has Windows 2000 OS though the laptop (IBM T30) is supposed to be an XP machine

Any ideas anyone?? Advice greatfully accepted

Cheers
Kaiel

Personally I don't think the Internet Connection has anything to do with it.....being on Admin Account could the problem.....if that is the work computer then I'm sure they must have altered it to users won't install what ever they want on it....best thin to do it for log in as Admin and create a new local account with Admin rights and delete all the old account....then install SKYPE.

Cheers
