Reformat C drive ...no sound!

Hello all,
I had to reformat my C drive over the weekend.Everything is now in order except that I cannot hear any sound comming from the pc (through the speakers) except for the occasional beep from the pc itself. I have a feeling that I lost the driver to my sound card...
Below is an except from the Everest report for my pc.(Sorry about the french.)
Can anyone help me and point me towards a solution?

What make is your computer, is it a HP or emachine, I think I know the onboard audio for this motherboard, but need to be sure.

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case

The Trigem Glendale ( real name Imperial) use Realtek AC'97 audio. Go here
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Download the (Excution file) save to desktop. double click to install

The site is slow

go here to Intel and install the chipset driver - then RESTART your comp

then go to MSI and install the C-Media audio driver, it's for XP

I'm not 100% sure this will happen, as I'm not familiar with Vista

Vista should automatically set a Restore Point for you
