Automatically detect settings
The issue I am having is that when using IE6.0.3790.1830, it will not automatically detect proxy settings when not logged into the domain.
This sucks as some machines are not in the domain at all.
When logged in locally (IE not into the domain) firefox works 100% but IE does not.
When logged in to the domain, both work 100%
Firefox works 100% which proves the servers are setup correctly, it's a local PC thing.
The "Automatically detect settings" checkbox has been set exactly the same when both logged in locally and in the NT domain within IE. When logged in locally, it just will not read the wpad.dat file but it does when logged into the domain.
Any ideas?
