2003 Storage Server and DataCentreServer testing

hi,

Both Win 2003 Storage Server and Datacenter Server versions are available from OEM's although I believe DataCenter Server is also from MS directly or resellers.

My company works with a lot of these different OEM's .

In order for my company to provide support of our products on these specific systems, a decision was taken a while back that we should have to test our products on each specific OEM flavour because of the 'uniqueness' of each hardware solution.

My question is this :
Is this a correct assessment to make ? Is it safe to assume that because our tests passed on a Fujitsu 2003 Storage Server solution, say, that it would also work fine with an IBM Storage Server solution , for example ?
Will the same apply for DataCenter Server ?
