I am REALLY dumb for doing this, as you will see. I was making room on my computer by deleting some programs that were useless, but I accidentally deleted the SoundMAx and now no audio will come out of my speakers. I've tried downloading everything out there but they all got errors stating that there was a driver missing or something... If you can help i'd be thankful!!!!!!

Need more info, make and model of comp, or if not sure Get Belarc, copy and paste the report, omit the Software section, it gives Product Codes for your OS and the Windows Critical Updates.http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

These are your Intel board drivers, audio is No:4
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case

Go bak to Intel, No:8 Intel Software Installation Utility - install then Restart your comp

Then install audio again

System Restore
Start / All programes ? Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / Create a restore point - then follow instructions

Yeah my comp isnt very good. I dont see system restore I only see backup under system tools. What makes me mad now is, that No. 8 now stops at 86%, something is horribly wrong with my system for some reason... Nothing seems to be working, but thank you for your help anyway. I'm going to keep trying for a while, maybe you have another suggestion? Sorry for the trouble.

This is what it says after leaving it at 86% for a while:

"Internet Explorer cannot download infinst_enu.exe from downloadmirror.intel.com.

The connection with the server was reset."
