internet explorer freezing

I am communicating through Firefox, as internet explorer has frozen. All I get is the browser toolbars and a white page.It takes several minutes to open properly.Message boxes such as this one will eventually open, but it takes over 2 minutes to do so.I get messages on the bottom bar which say either Done, or Website found.... waiting for reply.At the last timing, it took 3 minutes to open my email account.

This has been happening all week.
Please help before I have no hair left!

if firefox works ok,,there must be a config issue with ie,,what ie you using. ie 6 or ie 7. do a maleware and virus scan as well..go to trend micro online scan and run. i am guessing your using outlook epress. also why dont you just uninstall ie, and use firefox,,its alot better and you can use outlook express as well. in outlook also check you account setting are all configure ok. if mail is taking time to get,,it could be the isp mail servers causing this.
