Unhappy Win 2K Server Manage Workstation Problem

Hello,
I have a small network running using win 2000 advanced server & two other systems using win xp pro. I have recently reinstalled 2k server & now I am unable to manage the other computers through the server. I can go into the manage window, but I can view no information about the system. I can not even view any drives on the workstation. But I can view the servers drives from the workstation. I have to log on to a local account for this to work. The workstation is joined to the domain. In the recent past this has worked. It's just since I reinstalled server.

Any ideas....I'm trying to remember all of the problems pertaining to this...I am at work.

Thanks,
---roystreet

Wink Win 2K Server Manage Workstation Problem

I have seen that before
it seem like you are the Admin,, first, remove these two computer name from AD computer list, then disconnect the two Winodws XP system from the network and rename the computer to what ever, then go to your server and add those computer name to the AD computer list and also set the trust option on between server and workstation in AD.

cheers

I should have posted what I did. I did it before you replied to this.

I removed them from the AD @ one point & then added them back, but it didn't work. So, I removed them once again & then I made the workstations join a group instead of a domain (Some generic name). Rebooted & then added them to the domain once again. Now, AD works w/o that same problem again.

Thanks For Your Help & Never Stop Helping.
