Why cant i access my routers settings?

When i type in 192.168.1.1 into the search bar. My routers username comes up like its supose to. But when i type in admin for the password and leave the username blank it doesnt work. I even switch it around and Then it takes me to a page that says 401 Authorization required. Whyt cant i access my settings?

Incorrect password...try admin for the user and admin for the password. If you have set the password and forgot the only way to get back in is to reset to factory settings.
What is the default login? according to the mmodel router it will be in your instructions you got with it.

Well it looks like he changed the password. Is there a reason you need to access the router?

Hi, the bad news is no you cant find the password. Themore bad news is that to access the router you will have to reset it to factory default which will mean all your settings will be lost but thenyou will be able to type in the default login.
