Not seing D: drive

I am in the processing of upgrading my computer from win98 to win2k. So I re-partitioned and re-formated my HD.
But when I put my win2000 CD, it would take off.

So I tried to look for i386/winnt manally. For reason, my computer is not displaying (dir) the file on the CD-ROM. I tried different CD, still D: drive showing the same files. And when I try to access E: drive, I get an error.

How do I fix this? And how do I set my bios boot to boot from my CD-Rom, so that win2k intalltion will take off when I pop in my CD.

What is your Hard Drive / Optical Drive configuration?

How many partitions do you have on your Primary Master Hard Drive?

How are you Booting the system (CD ROM - Floppy)?

Thanks for the PM,

To get your system to boot from CD you need to get into BIOS and change the boot drive to CD ROM.

If that isn't possible you will need to make some Win 2k Boot Disks, you can do this from Win 9x and your Win 2k CD.
