Arrow Win2k cannot browse but ping after about 10hours of restart

Dear friends,

Hai ,

when i log on to this machine and ping any site with dns name it pings well but i cannot browse any website nor ftp any website .. even cannot browse or ftp the same local server

I have a very typical problem with my Windows 2000 server with SP4 installed yesterday. The problem is I have IIS 5.0 and Dns installed in this machine and is working as a standalone webserver and we host websites on this machine. now since 1 month i am facing a typical problem that when i log on to this machine and ping any site with dns name it pings well but i cannot browse any website nor ftp any website .. even cannot browse or ftp the same local server. I have to make a restart for this computer. then everything works fine till 10 hours after that the same problem arises and again i have to restart the server. when everi restart after that around 10 hours it works fine and then the same problem... This problem arised when it was only sp3 and some hotfixes.. i dont no why this is behaving so.. i everything with dns and swaped NIC and Restarted All services.. but it doensot work.. i have to restart the computer to make it back normal for about only 10 hours.

Pls any one can help me to solve this problem.. dear friends i will be thankfull to you people.

I know what you are saying but that should not be happening,, I don't have a solution but my suggestion would be to uninstall IIS and re-install it, your site security could be messed-up,, Also scan your system for kown worm and viruses.

cheers
