Searching Files and folders (MS/system omitted)

I know that in Windows 2000 (as well as all other OS's) that when you do a START SEARCH, FILES and FOLDERS, that it will not search certain directories such as some system directories or temporary internet files unless you search that specifically. Does anyone know a way to tweak the Search or get a file searcher that will find ALL the files, whether they be hidden, system, microsoft special folders etc?

Thanks in advance.

I've never encountered this problem, Do you have Administrator Rights on the profile you use ?

Yes, of course but this does not have anything to do with administrator rights. It has to do with windows and hidden folders that will not show up even in windows explorer such as c:\... ...\Temporary Internet Files\D2845FK\image[1].bmp. Similar folder hiding exists in outlook folders too. Windows explorer and search utilities make these folders invisible so you cannot see them. I wanted a better explorer/search that would search all the files/folders on the hard drive including all these super-hidden ones. I hope someone understands what Im talking about.

open windows explorer go to tools> folder options, click the view tab, then select show hidden files and folders, you can see them, in the search tool might want to go into the advanced options and include system files ect...

ok, after explaining myself twice which I assumed rather clearly, must I explain again that hidden system folders are are different than the folders which are hidden from searches and windows explorer. Go to your Temp internet files folder and you will notice that there are no sub directories where there are infact a LOT of folders that are named randomly like "F3JF5AQ9" or "OQ3VIEI7" (Outlook and Outlook express too) There is no way I know to uncover all these folders except in DOS thats not in a windows shell so if you have ntfs hard drive then I don't think you can do it. Please folks, with all due respect, if you don't know what you're talking about then please be quiet. Thankyou.
