Remote Desktop Connection Error
Hi All,
Iam new this forum. Whwnever i tried to login through RDP i get the error message" Because of security reason, the client could not connect to remote server ".I can't achieve this in a single shot by clicking on the RDP icon.Upon getting the error message either i need to refresh the screen or to logout to get the connection.Can somebody throw some light to this problem.

hi there,,
I assume both computer are running Windows 2000 ??? are these two computer on LAN or WAN ? what kind of relation ship do you want between them (client /server or full access) ? are these two computer conneted through broadband or dialup ?
There could be other solution for your remote connection other then the build it one.

Hi Snow,
Here comes the details, the client machine which is running on windows 2000 is connected to windows 2003 server on WAN - link around 350 ms latency.

try some sort of thrid party software like Remote Admin http://www.radmin.com of dameware : http://www.dameware.com/download/
they work very WELL for me.

problem access remote desktop connection
By the help of a search I am able to locate this forum which I believe will give the solution to my problem.By the way, am a new user here having a problem access my home system on remote desktop connection.Well am running on window XP, I have tried access my home PC at work but I was an enable to login to the administrator password. Actually I don't know which of the system's password they requesting for either the PC at home or at work.In this case, I don't know this password the technician who works on my PC not around.What to know is that, how can break through the administrator's password to access my home PC?

The login is for your remote home PC.
As far as breaking your employers Admin pass, that is the wrong question to ask.

I think the password you are asked to provide is the for work computer....in which case you really need to ask your admin....I assume that you have a limited profile which does not allow you to access the Remote Admin software. You should really consider asking Admin for elevated privileges.
