Vista and chipset

With Vista, do you need to update the chipset, reason that it appears not to recognise the Creative sound card, would updating the chipset help and has anyone needed to update in order to get sound to work.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi Bookworm ... I'm not using that card with the vista I have install but I notice in Creative forum site they have a vista forum section , Have you try there for advise ?

Thanks snooker, problem solved, well not really, but now I know the card that won't install does not have a Vista driver.

Yeah I think most are trying out XP drivers for drivers they can't find for Vista , Some work and some don't , Though its only months away for them
