Best laptop specs to run Vista?

My old laptop died and I am buying a new one this weekend -- for those that have bought/tested new laptop hardware with Vista, what do you recommend? My main needs are: Excel/PP power-user (will be getting Office 07 shortly), tax and financial planning software, email, internet, so far not big into games but may want to try.

So far I am planning on:
1. 2 GB DDR
2. Core 2 Duo chip
3. 5400 RPM HD (unclear on the need for a hybrid drive or not)
4. 256MB or 512MB graphics memory (?)
5. Vista Home Premium

What other specs should I be looking for?
