sound??

hi everyone.

i just got vista yesterday and i have been having problems with the sound. I've been reading up on forums and what-not trying to figure out what i could do. I've downloaded some drivers thinking they would work, but nothing. if anyone could help, i'd really appreciate it. thanks in advance.
