So I bought a new laptop with Home Basic just because it was cheaper and so I just upgraded it to Windows Ultimate via the Windows Anytime Upgrade and now I am having issues playing music via a mapped network drive.
I can't even play audio files that are located on my desktop. This issue has only been since upgrading to Ultimate.
The message I get is:

Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct.

**Edit**
I just downloaded Winamp and it too won't play any audio. No error messages there though.
Anyone know why this is or a fix?
Thanks,
Jeff
