Another No Sound Vista

i have a HP Pavilion a810n Desktop PC (AMD Athlon 64 3300+ Processor, 512 MB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, Dbl Layer 16X DVD+/-RW/CR-RW Drive, CD-ROM Drive. ive read a lot of post and i havent found none that work. when i go to device manager there is no option for Sound, video and game controllers what can i do????
