Sound Issue: Sound (Voices) Fade in and out

Hi,

I just received a vista computer, I notice when I play music or a game that it seems like the sound fades in and out slightly. Esp. the voices.

Does anyone know a fix for this? its driving me crazy

Is this on films? games? music? or is it music being played from the hard drive? i.e. the sample music u get on XP and Vista?

Best thing to do is check in DM and remove the sound card drivers and reinstall them, see if it helps.

You could also make sure the drives are set to DMA if available.
