start menu applications wont turn on,

I might have turned off a service required, but i cant think of it. please help.

also, i performed a sfc /scannow on admin and it came back : win resource protection couldn't fix some corrupted files,

any help i can get will be greatly appreciated

What do you mean "start menu applications wont turn on?" Have you tried a system restore?
