Exclamation Windows Movie Maker Publish Error

I edited a family guy episode to a 5 minute video on Windows Movie Maker. I published the movie to my computer in my Videos folder of compression of 44 MB. When I clicked to play the movie on windows media player, it played the video HALF-SCREENED. You see the full video but it's wide screen on the top half of the full screen, and the bottom half is completely green (except the titles between the video clips, it plays full screen when it is its turn). Even in the folder, where the movie is contained, when you change the view to large icons, the icon shows the same problem but is a miniature picture on the icon. Does anyone know anything about this, any solutions to this? Vista is known to have a lot of problems and that's what I have, the basic version, but my CD says Premium. I don't care about my version, I care about the way my movie was published, way off the scale on what the result was supposed to be. The strange thing is that when I was editing, the video was full screen on the preview window in windows movie maker, it doesn't make sense. Again, is anyone familiar with this problem?
