Camera Help Please

Hey guys I just set up a webcam using windows vista...is there a program i should download to use it? the program isnt compatible with vista yet.

Is it an older web cam? Whats the model?
My mate had a older no name web cam and he never got it working in Vista.

could be to old and no vista drivers for it. only xp ones.
