Question regarding vista and aol. Please help

Ok, my mother is a frequent user of aol and the version that works with Vista is giving her problems. Is there any way to get an older version of aol to run properly? She has discs from every version of aol, so getting that isn't a problem. I tried looking for a solution online, but came up empty.

If anyone has suggestions on how to get aol 7.0 to work with Vista, it would be appreciated. Or any advice in general on versions of aol before 9.1 or whatever she has currently for Vista.
