stop: 0x0000008E bluescreen error in Vista Ultimatte

hi

been having this problem for over a week now, i did a fresh install of the Vista Ultimatte and this message and bluescreen just started popping up. It mainly appears when i start graphic applications like 3dmax or games. before the fresh install i didn't have this problem.

ERROR message:


stop: 0x0000008E (0XC0000005, 0X81D93E9C, 0XB06FBC50, 0X00000000)

i have a Dell Computer Intel Pentium 4, 3.00Ghz
and just bought 4GB of kingmax memory (even before the memory upgrade i had this)

if anyone knows of a solution please help, i have a deadline on a project and i need to be able to use graphic application.

It may be a driver related issue, is your sound and video card drivers up to date?
