downloaded vista now my computer crashes after it starts please help me.

hello people when i bought my computer (xps 410) from dell vista wasn't available yet. when it became available i downloaded it and now every time i restart my computer it freezes and then it turns off and restarts but it freezes on and off for about 15 mins. this happens every time i turn my system on. does anybody know what is going on with my computer please help me.

Where di you get the copy of Vista from?

i got the copy from dell. i spoke to the dell tech and he told me my computer base score was to low and that i had to upgrade my memory and grafic card so i did now my computer base score is 5.0 and it still does it they can't figure it out.

Well can you burn Vista to a DVD? Can you capture the error code? Go into device manager check everything is ok, no yellow! Also have alook in event viewer for any errors.
