Getting Vista to connect to a Mac

Hi there,

I've just bought a Vaio as a laptop that is running Vista. My desktop is a Mac. We've connected an XP laptop to it (to get music, photos, print etc), the Mac desktop, but can't seem to do it with Vista. Where is the My Network Places equivalent please? At the moment the Vista machine will 'see' the Mac but will just not connect.

Any ideas very much appreciated.

Follow the instruction on the URL if you have Windows Vista Ultimate/Business/Enterprise Versions)....doesn't work for Home edition though.

There is another soultion you could use but it cost a bit......It's called "Dave" ...I'm not kidding..."Dave"........I recall that long time ago I had to buy a copy of it so we could network few MAC system to our MS network....it worked great and it seem like that are still in business
