I need help Installing a game which states INSTALLATION IS CORRUPTED

I have recently bought Bejeweled 2 Deluxe and tried to install it. I go through the process of installing it , then it states that the INSTALLATION CORRUPTED. INSTALL FROM ORIGINAL CD. This is the original cd. I need help. I have tried everything from disabling everything(anti-virus, pop-up blockers, and firewall) still does not let me play.

Hi, the only thing you can do is clean the cd with a proper cleaning cloth for CDs and run a cd cleaner through your cd rom. But from what you have stated your cd might be damaged.

Thanx for all your help. I had to go to the support website for the game and they gave me the link to get the game up and running.
